Helix is a BIM interoperability solution developed by EvolveLAB and now part of the Chaos ecosystem, designed to improve workflows between SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Revit.
It can convert supported SketchUp and AutoCAD geometry into native Revit elements, helping teams reduce the need to manually recreate design information when moving between different applications. Helix also supports workflows between Revit and SketchUp, allowing design teams to maintain greater continuity between conceptual modeling and BIM development.
Helix is particularly useful for multidisciplinary teams where different project participants use different CAD, 3D modeling, and BIM applications.
